AnDré Washington gives you lyrical and vocal styles reminiscent of Marvin Gaye, Sly Stone, Donny Hathaway, Curtis Mayfield, Smokey Robinson & Prince. He has worked with some of the industry’s most respected and ingenious artists including Seal, Wil i am, John Mayer,MaryMary,Yolanda Adams, Aretha Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, MaryMary, Natalie Cole, Mariah Carey and Andrae Crouch to name a few.
Raised in Coatesville, PA., AnDré delivered his first solo performance in church at the tender age of three. Throughout his childhood years he traveled from state to state singing gospel music with various church groups and by his ninth birthday he was tickling the ivories on the piano. During his early years AnDré also garnered first place in a local talent show, which earned him a Southern State Tour and a featured artist spot on “Share the Load” an album by Grace and Truth Delegation of Chester, PA.
His parents perceived something musically special in their second son and relocated the family to Los Angeles. Their perceptions were one hundred percent correct! Shortly after their arrival, AnDré was quickly hand-picked as the fourth member of the profound Grammy-Award winning, Platinum-Recording Group, “All-For-One!” After a short stint with the group, AnDre’ moved on to pursue his ambitions as a solo artist. Currently, AnDré is hard at work promoting his first solo project “First Look,” for Good Boi Entertainment, now available on iTunes world wide!

North Carolina bred, Brooklyn based singer/composer/multi-instrumentalist Becca Stevens has already received copious praise from the likes of The New York Times, describing her as “a best-kept secret” and “impressively absorbing.” Drawing upon elements of pop, indie-rock, jazz, and traditional Appalachian folk, Stevens has been hailed by the press, her peers and fans alike for her unique ability to craft exquisitely understated compositions both for her own band, and for artists who run the gamut of genre from trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire, singer José James to classical pianist Timo Andres. Fluent on guitar, ukulele, and charango, Stevens’ seamless arrangements embrace inventive textures and idiosyncratic melodic elements, communicated with immense warmth and effortless urgency through her pitch-perfect and inimitable vocals.
Since the release of 2011’s Weightless (Sunnyside), Stevens has toured the world with her band and also found time to collaborate with Brad Mehldau, Esperanza Spalding, Snarky Puppy, David Crosby, Jacob Collier, Alan Hampton, and many others. Stevens is one part of a trio with Rebecca Martin and Gretchen Parlato called Tillery, and is a featured vocalist on the GRAMMY-Winning Billy Childs record Map to the Treasure: Reimagining Laura Nyro, produced by Larry Klein.

2015 saw the highly anticipated follow up to Weightless with a new record of originals entitled Perfect Animal (Universal Music) and an international tour. “Be Still” from the new album made the NPR list of top songs of 2015 and the album was rated as the best of 2015 on as well as making it onto The Daily Beast’s 20 Amazing Under-The-Radar Albums of 2015. Regina is a tribute to strong women and figures in literature, history and legend as well as her personal life (Ophelia, Venus, Elizabeth I, her Grandmother); various songs inspired by the regal and divine nature surrounding that word as well as Regina as a voice, like a trusted friend or alter ego. The album features Laura Mvula, Jacob Collier, David Crosby and is produced by Troy Miller (Gregory Porter, Laura Mvula, Amy Winehouse) and co-produced by Michael League of Snarky Puppy,




Charles Altura is a Grammy-nominated artist, originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. After graduating from Stanford University, he quickly made a name for himself as an important new voice on guitar. He has performed and/or recorded with Chick Corea, Terence Blanchard, Tigran Hamasyan, Tom Harrell, Stanley Clarke (including the 2011 Grammy award-winning album The Stanley Clarke Band), Ambrose Akinmusire, Aaron Parks, Dayna Stephens, Thundercat, and Ravi Coltrane, among others. Altura performs original music as a bandleader, and is releasing a debut record this year.


Hailing from Baltimore and Illinois, and coming together in NYC, Evan Marien x Dana Hawkins came to fruition when Evan Marien brought his solo bass/electronic compositions to virtuoso drummer Dana Hawkins. The unique partnership, who in the past has worked with Grammy Award winners and nominees including Jack DeJohnette, Stanley Clarke, Meshell Ndegeocello, Esperanza Spalding, Eldar Djangirov, Estelle, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Jeremy Pelt, Esperanza Spalding, Marcus Strickland, Jacque Schwartz-Bart, Ada Rovatti; has also been featured in Modern Drummer (US) and in Bass Player Magazine (US, UK, Japan).

Evan Marien x Dana Hawkins released an album called (“Collections”) on January 8th 2013 featuring live recordings and video mixes, in addition to the music videos for “Flashes” and “Soulseek”.

With their music being compared to the melodies of Squarepusher, the textures of Weather Report, and the tranquility of Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy series composer), this progressive collaboration of bold bass artistry, dynamic electronic production, and prodigious drumming has paved a new path in electro jazz.


China Moses jazz, r’n’b, soul and pop vocalist. She has been steeped in music and the theatre world since she was a child. She released her first single Time (1996) at the age of 16 along with her first video directed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino. This success was followed by three albums: “China” (1997), “On Tourne en Rond” (2000) and “ Good Lovin’ ” (2004), turning her into a force to be reckoned with on the French Soul/Pop scene. Her albums brought her work with renowned names like Guru, DJ Mehdi, Karriem Riggins, Meshell Ndegeocello, Anthony Marshall and sound engineer Bob Power.

In 2009, she released the album “This One’s For Dinah”, a tribute to her idol Dinah Washington, with the pianist Raphaël Lemonnier. The musicians carried on working together in 2012 with the album “Crazy Blues”, a tribute to some of the Great Dames of Blues and Soul.

China Moses is also a radio and TV presenter, actress and model.



Two rewards and the audience prize at the world biggest jazz-piano-solo competition of the Jazzfestival Montreux, a lot of enthusiastic/international reviews for his CDs and the most important prize in Austria 2011 – the “Outstanding Artist Award” – David Helbock, the pianoplayer coming from a small little village in Austria called Koblach, is with no doubt, has already had a great international musical career.

Helbock is not only a great pianist, he is also a very individual thinker, who is investing not only a lot of dexterity but also quite an amount of brain activity to his projects.
David Helbock, born on the 28th of january 1984, began playing the piano at the age of six.
He studied at the Feldkirch Conservatory with Prof. Ferenc Bognar, where he finished 2005 with an “excellent” degree in performance and since 2000 he took lessons with the New York jazz pianist Peter Madsen, who became his teacher, mentor and friend.

David Helbock played Tours and Recordings with different projects in countries like the USA, Australia, Mexico, Russia, Kasachstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Mongolia, Korea, Philippines, South Africa, Ethiopia, Kenia, Senegal, Marokko, Iran, Tunisia, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and all over Europe.

Since the start of his musical career David Helbock is also very active as a composer. One of his works is among others a big  „One-Year compositional project“ where he wrote a new piece every day for a whole year. (In April 2010 his “Personal Realbook” with over 600 pages of music was released).



Dee Dee Bridgewater has been internationally recognized as creative force in the jazz world, honoured with international awards and recently recived two Grammy awards for her tribute album “Dear Ella”.

Dee Dee made her phenomenal New York debut in 1970 as the lead vocalist for the band led by Thad Jones and Mel Lewis, one of the premier jazz orchestras of the time. These New York years marked an early career in concerts and on recordings with such giants as Sonny Rollins, Dizzy Gillespie, Dexter Gordon, Max Roach and Roland Kirk, and rich experiences with Norman Connors, Stanley Clarke and Frank Foster’s “Loud Minority.”

Dee Dee doesn’t care much for labels, and in 1974 she jumped at the chance to act and sing on Broadway where her voice, beauty and stage presence won her great success and a Tony Award for her role as Glinda the Good Witch in The Wiz. This began a long line of awards and accolades as well as opportunities to work in Tokyo, Los Angeles, Paris and in London where she garnered the coveted ‘Laurence Olivier’ Award nomination as Best Actress for her tour de force portrayal of jazz legend Billie Holiday in Stephen Stahl’s Lady Day. Performing the lead in equally demanding acting/singing roles as Sophisticated Ladies, Cosmopolitan Greetings, Black Ballad, Carmen Jazz and the musical Cabaret (the first black actress to star as Sally Bowles), she secured her reputation as a consummate entertainer.

In October 1999, Dee Dee joined the battle against world hunger. Appealing for international solidarity to finance global grass-roots projects, the FAO’s Ambassadors aid in developing self-reliance in long-term conservation and management of sustainable agriculture, rural development and the conservation and management of natural resources.

Dee Dee continues to bring her message to listeners. NPR’s JazzSet© with Dee Dee Bridgewater is the jazz lover’s ears and eyes on the world of live music. It presents today’s best jazz artists in performance on stages around the world, taking listeners to Puerto Rico and Cuba, as well as Marciac in the French countryside and across the North American continent from Montreal to Monterey.


The legendary Dr. John is a 6-time GRAMMY Award-winning musician and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee. Known throughout the world as the embodiment of New Orleans music, Dr. John is an international cultural icon. His career began in the 1950’s when he wrote and played on some of the greatest records to come out of his home town, including recordings by Professor Longhair, Art Neville, Joe Tex and Frankie Ford. Dr. John headed to Los Angeles in the 1960’s as a session musician, playing on albums by Sonny and Cher, Van Morrison, Aretha Franklin and The Rolling Stones. During that time he launched his solo career, developing the mystical persona of Dr. John The Night Tripper. His 1968 album “Gris-Gris” introduced his blend of voodoo mysticism, funk, rhythm & blues and psychedelic rock mingled with his New Orleans roots.

His album Ske-Dat-De-Dat: The Spirit of Satch (Concord Records) debuted at #1 on Billboard Magazine’s Jazz Chart and landed on Best Albums of the Year lists. Dr. John says of his Ske-Dat-De-Dat‘s inspiration: “Louis Armstrong was the most famous guy who ever came out of my neighborhood. So it was special to me when he came to me in a dream and said: ‘Do my music, but do it your way.”


Recently nominated for a Grammy for his work on Terence Blanchard’s “Breathless”, pianist and composer Fabian Almazan found his musical roots as a child in his homeland of Havana where he first became involved in the classical piano tradition.

He studied at the New World School of the Arts High School in Miami, FL. In 2003, Fabian moved to New York City to study with Kenny Barron at the Manhattan School of Music. In the spring of 2009 Fabian Almazan received a master’s degree from Manhattan School of Music.

Terence Blanchard: “He’s someone who takes all of his experiences around the world and in different forms of music, and uses them to create something special.”

“Personalities”, Almazan’s debut album as a leader, was released in October 2011. Almazan’s latest album, “Rhizome”, released in the Spring of 2014 was the very first project to be released on the joint label Bluenote/ArtistShare.



Grzegorz Nagórski – jazz trombonist , euphonium player, composer. His professional debut took place at the Jazz Piano Festival in Kalisz in 1982 with Jan Ptaszyn Wróblewski. Between 1990 and 1995 he studied and performed in Miami and New York. At that time, he worked with multi-instrumentalist Ira Sullivan’s Inner Outer Continental Quintet, and performed with Ray Charles, Tito Puente, Joe Henderson , Jimmy Heath, Michael Brecker, Maria Schneider, Phil Woods, Slide Hampton, Arturo Sandoval, Charlie Persip Super Big Band;, John Fedchock and Red Rodney.

Since 1996 Grzegorz Nagórski has been voted “The Best Jazz Trombonist” in the Jazz Top readers’ poll in Jazz Forum European Magazine. He is also very active as a teacher, being an associate professor at the Institute of Jazz at the Academy of Music in Katowice.

Grzegorz Nagórski recorded over 40 albums and was a multi-nominee and 2009 Jazz Phonographic Newcomer of the Year award winner. After a well-received acoustic albums: „Dedication” and „Over and Over” albums, he recorded a new project called „Grzegorz Nagórski Euphonium Quartet – Goes Electric”( Grzegorz Nagórski – – euphonium, Paweł Tomaszewski – k, Michał Barański – b, Paweł Dobrowolski – d). New album will be released in early 2017. The music presented by this band is based on groovy, carefully arranged and structured compositions, where the written-out sections hold a perfect balance with improvisations.


Israeli-born, Brooklyn-based trumpeter & composer Itamar Borochov connects lower Manhattan to North Africa, modern Israel and ancient Bukhara, celebrating traces of the divine that he finds in elegant sophistication, Middle Eastern tradition and downhome blues. Borochov brings a unique sound with him wherever he goes. Deeply immersed in the jazz tradition, Borochovʼs search for his personal roots resulted in an ever-expanding love for Arab and Pan-African musical sensibilities – a natural palette for a trumpeter-composer raised in Jaffa, an integrated Muslim-Jewish-Christian city. After working with such legendary artists as Curtis Fuller and Candido Camero, and having served as arranger and co-producer for acclaimed world music sensation Yemen Blues, Borochov set out on his own path. His critically acclaimed debut recording Outset (2014) was included in the New York City Jazz Record’s Best of 2014 List, and his forthcoming album Boomerang was chosen as “revelation of the month” on Jazz Magazine. Audiences worldwide are falling for his enchanting sound and virtuosic expression Borochov has performed internationally at such prestigious venues and festivals as Lincoln Center (NY), The Kennedy Center, (Washington DC), SummerStage at Central Park (NY), Roskilde Festival (Denmark), Ethno Port Festival (Poland), Montreal Jazz Festival, Moscow Jazz Festival, and more. He has performed showcases at such important conventions as APAP, Babel Med, Womex, and Jazzahead. Itamar Borochov, quickly gaining international recognition as a jazz innovator, continues  his musical quest, offering on Boomerang a music that reflects a rich global landscape seen firsthand, through the jazz tradition.


James Carter is a powerhouse musician and one of the most admired saxophonists of his generation, garnering plaudits for his role in helping to propel jazz full tilt into the future over the past twenty-five years. His music is fueled by deep respect and intimate knowledge of the jazz tradition.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1969, James Carter began playing saxophone at age 11, first recorded with a Detroit student ensemble in 1986 and, by 1991, had recorded with legendary trumpeter Lester Bowie on The Organizer and contributed to the 1991 collection The Tough Young Tenors. Mastering a family of reed instruments, from sopranino to contrabass saxophones to contrabass and bass clarinets, James Carter mesmerized the jazz world after arriving in New York City in 1988 to play under the auspices of Lester Bowie.

His debut recording, JC On The Set, released in Japan when Carter was a mere 23 years old, heralded the arrival of a significant and powerful new musical force in jazz.


Kocin Kociński Trio – trio jazzowe, które powstało w 2011 roku. Repertuar zespołu to przede wszystkim kompozycje saksofonisty Macieja „Kocina” Kocińskiego. W styczniu 2013 roku nakładem wytwórni Allegro Records ukazał się pierwszy album zespołu zatytułowany „Proverbs 3:5”, na którym gościnnie wystąpili Kuba Badach i Patrick Jiya. Dzięki temu albumowi Maciej „Kocin” Kociński w 2014 roku został nominowany do Nagrody Muzycznej Fryderyki w kategorii debiut jazzowy. Muzycy Kocin Kociński Trio wraz z pianistą Krzysztofem Dysem współtworzą także kwartet Soundcheck, z którym stale koncertują. Wspólnie zdobywali nagrody na krajowych i zagranicznych konkursach jazzowych. W tym składzie nagrali kilka bardzo dobrze przyjętych w Polsce i za granicą albumów. W 2011 roku Maciej „Kocin” Kociński został nominowany do Nagrody Muzycznej Fryderyki w kategorii jazzowy kompozytor roku za album „Soundcheck III druglum”, a w 2012 roku w tej samej kategorii za album „Marysia – wiersze z Kazachstanu”.

Pianist, composer, arranger, and producer. Lecturer in Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, the same Academy where he received degree in Piano Performance in 2007, and degree in Composition and Arrangements in
2006. In 2013, Pawel obtained his Ph.D. with specialization in Piano Playing.

Pawel has played with various Polish and international jazz stars on stages around the world. He has extended experience in performing solo concerts as well as concerts with symphony orchestras.

In his career, Pawel has worked with wide array of artists of various music genres. He has performed alongside such stars as: Maria Schneider, Steve Vai, Nigel Kennedy, Rick Margitza, Eric Marienthal, Dean Brown, Xantone
Blacq, Larry Coryell, Troy Miller, Steve McCraven, Karen Edwards, Judy Bady, Troy Anderson, Steve Logan, Michał Urbaniak, Krzesimir Dębski, Zbigniew Namysłowski, Jarosław Śmietana, Urszula Dudziak, Anna Serafińska, Mika Urbaniak, Piotr Wojtasik, Grzegorz Nagórski, Sławomir Jaskułke, Mieczysław Szcześniak, Marita Alban Juárez, Halina Młynkowa, Ewa Uryga, Adam Bałdych and many others.

His work appears on over 20 CDs. He is a big band and symphony orchestra composer for Polish Jazz Symphony and Symphony of the Galaxies (jazz quintet and string orchestra).

In 2009, Pawel’s album “Dedication” with Grzegorz Nagórski Quartet won the prestigious Fryderyk Award in the category “Jazz Debut of the Year”.


Paweł Dobrowolski graduated the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice,
Department of Jazz and Contemporary Music, studying drums and percussion under Prof. Adam Buczek.

Born on February 10, 1977, Gorzow Wielkpolski, Poland, Przemek Raminiak is a jazz musician, composer and arranger.
Raminiak is a graduate of Warsaw School of Music and Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice.

Cofounder of the jazz trio RGG. For over 10 years of cooperation RGG became one of Poland’s top jazz trios of the young generation. Together they recorded 5 albums, winning a number of awards such as 1st prize at the Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa Festival – RGG (2002), 2nd prize and audience prize at the 27th International Jazz Festival in Getxo (Spain) – RGG (2003), “Keys to the Career” at the Pomeranian Jazz Autumn – RGG (2003), 2nd prize at the Krokus Jazz Festival in Jelenia Góra – RGG (2004).

Raminiak also won 2nd prize at the prestigious IV Krzysztof Komeda Composer’s Competition.
In 2008 he received the Sukces Award by the Rotary Club for outstanding achievement in music. In 2009 he was awarded “Motyl”- The Cultural Prize of the Mayor of Gorzow Wielkopolski.

Raashan Ahmad is an emcee, producer, DJ and label owner with a thriving career as a Hip Hop artist. He has garnered national & international critical acclaim from worldwide press such as XXL, Giles Peterson’s World Wide Awards, France 24, Urb, Rolling Stone etc…

Raashans’ solo albums The Push, For What You’ve Lost, Ceremony as well as with his albums with his crew Crown City Rockers have garnered worldwide attention and earned him the admiration of fans as he has toured feverishly both solo and with various bands and orchestras throughout North and South America, Europe, Japan, & Australia [over 35 countries, covering six continents].

Since the year 2001 the RGG trio has been more and more often identified with the European taste of improvised music, performed by the piano trio. In 2013 after 12 years od RGG’s existence the pianist Przemysław Raminiak was replaced by Łukasz Ojdana, a young talented artist, who made the trio breathe deeper. This year RGG became an official part of the new quartet of TOMASZ STAŃKO!

The latest album „AURA” is also the first for the label internationally. The publisher of the album is one of the most prestigious music labels in the world, Okeh Records (Sony Classical). The origins of this label date back to the year 1918. In the current catalogue the outstanding artists are: Sonny Rollins, Branford Marsalis, Dave Holland, Bill Frisell, Nils Peter Molvaer, Jeff Ballard, John Medeski, David Sanborn, Michel Camilo, The Bad Plus, Avishai Cohen.

The trio also leads its new music platform called „Contemporary Sonus”, including:



Soundcheck was founded in 2002, but current members have been playing together since the end of 2003. The band’s repertoire contains not only the compositions written by the leader – Maciej “Kocin” Kocinski, but also by the remaining members, as well as new arrangments of the jazz standards. From the very beginning, Soundcheck has been succesfuly performing in the clubs and on festivals across Poland and abroad.

Musicians have already developed their own style of sound, all of the artists are individualities. They are being invited to cooperation by many stars. Their music is deeply thought out and fine-tuned. However, ii is not devoid of spontaneity and openness, so that is unique in each performance. Comprehensive education, experience, broad musical interests, the passion, creation and hundreds of hours on stage, on the road and at trials make the effect is amazing. Soundcheck… This can not be conveyed in words! Check the sound!

The band recorded two albums, both of which received very enthusiastic reviews. The third album “Soundcheck III Druglum” appeared in March 2010.


Since top-tier jazz and multiple Grammy-winning trumpeter and composer Terence Blanchard embarked on his solo recording career with his eponymous Columbia Records album in 1991, the New Orleans-born and -based artist has traveled many paths musically, including delivering adventurous and provocative acoustic jazz outings of original material, composing over 50 soundtracks and even, in 2013, debuting Champion: An Opera in Jazz. He has also, in the spirit of his onetime membership in the jazz school of Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers, mentored several musicians in his bands who have gone on to have significant recording careers of their own (including Lionel Loueke, Aaron Parks, Kendrick Scott and one of his current band members Fabian Almazan).

As a leader and co-leader (significantly four albums early in his career with fellow Crescent City artist, saxophonist Donald Harrison), Blanchard has recorded more than 30 albums that often defied genres, yet were still critically acclaimed. But for his latest Blue Note Records album, Breathless, Blanchard powerfully and playfully journeys into another jazz realm with his new quintet, The E-Collective—an exciting zone of grooved fusion teeming with funk, R&B and blues colors.


Graduating from Louisiana State University’s music department Lynell is able to harness her voice as a true instrument and perform various genres of music with precision and validity. Lynell frequents the stage as a clinician, performer, arranger, bandleader, and songwriter. As she has made her way through the music scene Lynell has shared the stage with headline jazz artists such as Herlin Riley, Roderick Paulin, Don Vappie, Mitchell Player and countless local artists and bands. She was also invited to join Terence Blanchard during The Movie Music of Spike Lee & Terence Blanchard concert in Poland. Collaborating and creating lifelong experiences is a passion of Lynell’s, she has been a featured vocalist on various artist recordings. Lynell has performed with the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra as the principle Soprano using the classical side of her voice and has performed at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival presenting traditional jazz music.

She has performed in several musicals throughout New Orleans and Baton Rouge receiving rave reviews.
